Is it Safe to Wear a Seatbelt During Dregnancy?
The one question we get asked regularly on Instagram and Facebook is: "should I be wearing a seatbelt while pregnant" or "is it safe to wear a seatbelt during pregnancy"

And the short answer is: Yes.
You should always wear a seatbelt. In states like Arkansas, it's even required by law. If a police officer stops you while driving without your seatbelt on you are subject to a fine
Most crash fatalities occur within 25 miles of home and at speeds of less
than 40 mph. This could lead to fatal injuries to you and your unborn baby.
That's why you should always wear a seatbelt when driving. But during pregnancy things change a bit. The regular seatbelt is not designed for pregnant women. It applies pressure to the belly which can lead to pain during a car ride and in case of an accident, it could lead to injuries to your unborn baby.

You can take away pressure with a seatbelt adjuster. it's a simple tool that you can install on any car. It redirects pressure from your tummy onto your laps. That way, in case of an accident your baby stays safe. And because it takes away the pressure the pain goes away too.
